Radiant Floor Heating System using PEX Tubing

Nowadays, radiant floor heating technology is becoming very popular for warming up indoor areas. They are very advantageous especially during winters, when you have to use a heater or air conditioner to warm up your home. Floor heating systems use various forms of heating devices for keeping the floors warm. PEX tubing is one of heating devices utilized for a heating system. They are highly effective forms of tubes that have the capability to withstand high and low temperature.

Cross-linked Polyethylene (PEX or XLPE)

So, what is PEX actually? Cross-linked polyethylene, commonly abbreviated PEX or XLPE, is a form of polyethylene with cross-links. It is formed into tubing, and is used predominantly in hydronic radiant heating systems, domestic water piping and insulation for high tension (high voltage) electrical cables. Recently, it has become a viable alternative to polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and copper pipe for use as residential water pipes.

PEX Pipe For Overcome Leakage Water

You have experiences that make it difficult to avoid seepage of hot and cold water installation? Sometimes the pipe is not a problem but the problem is the connection and seepage from the pipes with that connection. Number of connections that is attached with the builders caused any leakage occurs and the walls turn yellow because of seepage. Views wall paint peeling and unsightly. Problems can be avoided through flexible PEX plumbing in grooves and joints taped with the connection of producers and not use glue.

PEX plumbing can be used for the installation of 110 degree heat and will not make the seepage from the connection even though the pressure of the water pump going. Another benefit of PEX plumbing is: PEX plumbing has the flexibility of a high, PEX plumbing reduce the connection / use of glue joints are usually the source of the leak, PEX plumbing heat resistant and permanent form so that leaks can be avoided and PEX plumbing resistant to pressure from water pump especially on the connection because it does not use glue that is easy separate.
